Your 9 Days Tour from Casablanca begins at Casablanca’s airport, where your driver greets you. First, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque overlooking the Atlantic. Then, drive north to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to see the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Finally, check into your hotel or riad for an overnight stay in Rabat.
After breakfast, depart Rabat and drive north toward the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous “Blue Pearl.” Upon arrival, spend the afternoon exploring the city’s picturesque blue-washed streets, alleyways, and staircases. Visit Plaza Uta el-Hammam with its red-walled kasbah and the Great Mosque. Wander through local artisan shops selling wool garments and handmade soaps. Overnight in Chefchaouen with mountain views.
Leave Chefchaouen in the morning and drive south to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO site with remarkably preserved mosaics and columns. Next, stop at the holy hilltop town of Moulay Idriss for panoramic photos. Continue to Meknes to see the monumental Bab Mansour gate and the old medina. Finally, arrive in Fes for a two-night stay in a traditional riad.
With an official local guide, explore Fes el-Bali, the world’s largest car-free urban area. Visit the famous Chouara Tannery, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Jewish Quarter. Stop at a pottery cooperative to see traditional blue ceramics. Enjoy free time in the souks before returning to your riad for the night.
Depart Fes and climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at alpine-style Ifrane, then visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see wild Barbary apes. Continue through the Ziz Valley’s palm groves to Merzouga. Swap your vehicle for a camel and trek across Erg Chebbi dunes to a luxury desert camp. Enjoy sunset, a tagine dinner, Berber drumming, and stargazing overnight.
Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then ride your camel back to Merzouga for breakfast. Choose optional activities: a 4×4 tour to nomadic families, Khamlia village for Gnawa music, sandboarding, or relaxing by the pool. Overnight in Merzouga or begin moving toward Todra Gorges. Dinner included.

Depart Dades Valley early morning and drive the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” with a quick stop at Atlas Film Studios (optional). Then, explore Aït Benhaddou, a stunning fortified kasbah and UNESCO site featured in Gladiator. Afterward, ascend the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 meters), stopping at Berber villages and an argan oil cooperative for panoramic views. Descend to Marrakech by evening and check into your riad. Overnight in Marrakech.
Enjoy a final Moroccan breakfast at your riad. Depending on your flight time, you may have a last chance to shop for souvenirs or stroll through Djemaa el-Fna square.
