DAY 1Arrival in Marrakech

To begin your 6-days Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour, you will arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech. Upon arrival, our driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel or riad. Depending on your arrival time, you may also enjoy some free time to explore the lively streets of the city.

Day 2Marrakech to Dades Valley

After breakfast, you will depart toward the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering panoramic views of mountain villages. In addition, you will visit the famous UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou before continuing through Ouarzazate and the scenic Rose Valley. Finally, you will arrive in the beautiful Dades Valley for the night.

Day 3Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert

Following breakfast, the journey continues through the impressive Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls create a dramatic natural landscape. Afterwards, you will travel through Berber villages and desert scenery until reaching Merzouga Desert. In the evening, you will enjoy a magical camel trek across the golden dunes at sunset.

Day 4Merzouga Desert Exploration

Today, you will fully experience the Sahara Desert lifestyle. Firstly, you will visit nomadic families and learn about their traditional way of life. Then, you will explore Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music. Additionally, optional activities such as quad biking or 4×4 desert excursions are available. Ultimately, the day ends with relaxation in the dunes.

Day 5Merzouga Desert to Fes

Early in the morning, you will enjoy a stunning sunrise over the dunes before departing toward Fes. On the way, you will pass through the scenic Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Furthermore, you will see cedar forests and possibly wild monkeys in Azrou before arriving in Fes.

Day 6Fes & Departure

Finally, depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short guided visit of the historic medina of Fes. Alternatively, you will be transferred directly to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your memorable 6 days Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour.
